Here’s my fun H&M kimono again! I’m wearing it with a black tank and black shorts.
Ignore the hair in this post !! Ha! It was hotttt out.
I love these Old Navy shorts!! They are like wearing pajama shorts but fancy. 🙂 How fun is the pop of color in this blue bag!! (I totally snagged it from my niece for the pics)
What a week it has been!! I’m looking forward to a fun night out, we are going to see Tarzan but only because vampire Eric is in it. He is my boyfriend❤️ Who else loved him from True Blood!!! Swoon!
I’ve seen these gorgeous earrings on some bloggers and I must have them!! How stunning is this color. They are by Nickel &Suede. This teal color I can’t get enough of!! Hopefully I’ll be sporting these soon.
July is in full swing! We still have A LOT of Summer left here because in Michigan school doesn’t start till after Labor Day. Which is great till the middle of August when they start annoying the hell out of me. It was HOT and HUMID most of last week. The girls started summer soccer and my son has football 3 afternoons a week and he had a all day band camp on Wednesday. Here’s a recap of my Instagram looks!!
I love a fun patterned Old Navy dress!!
You know I love a cute graphic tank!
I’ve been seeing these cute tees everywhere! Now I just need a Ohio one. 🙂
Here’s my olive skirt AGAIN, it is by far my most comfortable item of clothing.
I decided on navy to go with it this day!!!
This is another large scarf that I used as a vest. My blue tank shrunk and it a little clingy! The flowy vest over it is perfect.
That drink is a delightful sangria my friend made for the party. So good!!
Just a little posing in the traminette field!! The grapevines are thriving!
You can see them growing out of the grow tubes!
Here’s my sweet girl! She made court at are local Rocketfest over the weekend!! So proud of her she decided last minute to do it and wrote a great essay about school violence. She is not having the awkward middle school experience like I had!!!
It’s from Target and I have 3 shorter length ones and a maxi length one.
I love this shade of blue and the fun pattern it reminds me of a swimming pool. I am wearing a white tank underneath but I think if you are lucky to have a smaller chest you would not need a tank under it.
These are the cutes little flip-flops!! They are gold with the cute little diamonds.
Such a fun pattern!! And yes I did pose the same way 3 times! I noticed after we finished my sunglasses were totally crooked so those pics got deleted! Haha!!
I had hoped to do a Facebook live video on my DIY scarf vest and kimono but this week got away from me and I didn’t have the time (or good enough hair) to do it! Hoping next week I’ll be able to.
I have a love/hate relationship with this skirt. I love the idea of it, the style and the hem. I hate how it’s supposed to fit. It’s high waisted so then it’s to big but wearing it lower on my hips makes it all bunchy in the front.
Here it is lower, this cute tee is covering the bunching, it’s totally fine as long as I don’t move. Ha!
If only I didn’t have to move.
Here it is higher on my waist also good if I don’t move. Once I walk it slips down.
So the idea of this skirt with my tee is a great idea!! I just need one that fits. In my next life I’m hoping to come back not so high waisted. ;). Here’s a similar skirt. I need to go try this one.
This H&M top is such a winner!!!! I’ve worn it several times now and each time love it more!!!! I wore it with my olive skirt and wedges.
Such a comfy yet put together outfit!! Well today it’s supposed to be 91! We will be at my sons baseball game, this is the last week of baseball and we will have a week break till girls summer soccer starts. Of course with my son being a freshman now he has football conditioning all Summer! He loves it though football is his favorite sport to play.
I think out of all my romper looks this might be my favorite!!
So cute, right??? I told you I wear this vest a lot. 🙂
It’s just so comfortable! Can be dressed up or down. I love it so much. Now I want a cotton romper to wear with flip-flops or sneakers to just chill in! If you find one that comes in a tall size let me know!!! 🙂
It’s been so fun showing you all my favorite ways to style my romper!! If you have any other ways please let me know. 🙂
Since I turned 40 going on almost 2 years ago my skin has gotten extremely dry and my foundation was not working for me anymore. I’d already been a fan of Jennifer Bradleys lipgloss and had been wanting to try more things for awhile but hadn’t gotten around to it yet. A while ago she started posting Facebook live makeup videos, they are amazing! Her foundation looked to good to be true and after thinking about it for awhile I finally ordered it after messaging with her she picked the color I’d need. I was so excited the day it arrived and quickly tried it out! It was a perfect match!! It want on smooth and didn’t dry my skin or settle into my wrinkles or pores!
Here’s my first selfie, I’m only wearing the #3 foundation and some mascara cause I look like a corpse without it. I love how it doesn’t look or feel like I have makeup on. You’ve got to go check out her Facebook page and watch the videos if you love makeup like me.
My list of what I want keeps growing with each video she posts! The Time Feeze looks amazing and I’m loving the bronzer and new mascara.
Now onto my next romper look! I tried for a more casual/sporty look today.
The more I wear this romper the more I love it!! It is so comfortable and looks really good with my denim jacket and fun $2 Walmart shoes.
Thankful for the brick wall in the shade at Target! It was not good picture taking conditions at my house. Thanks to my friend Kim, her purse went great with the outfit!!
Back to the foundation! It wore beautifully all day and my 2 friends that saw it really liked it.
Another week gone and we’ve made it to the last couple of days of school for my kids. Only 2 more 5:30 wake-ups till September. I can’t believe I’ll have a 9th, 7th and 5th grader! This girl is gettin’ old! Here’s a look back at my Instagram.
Ginger bestie and I celebrating all the grapevines being planted!
Now I will apologize already but you will be seeing this denim vest A LOT over the next few months!
It’s a little cropped, I love it over tanks cause I’m a little busty. It is so cute with my olive joggers!
It’s super cute and super causal. My joggers are Old Navy from last year, they are light weight enough for a warmer day. I’m wearing my super cute leopard print Wal-Mart shoes that I picked up for $2!! Of course the best accessory is the glass of red.
I also added a fun bright lip! It’s Revlon ultra hd lip lacquer in garnet.
I love and live in maxi dresses in the warmer months. They are so comfortable and you looked amazingly put together in 2 seconds!
Of course it was a little chilly on this morning so I added my denim jacket from Old Navy. Dress is also Old Navy from a few years ago.
I actually prefer this dress with the jacket because it’s pretty shapeless and makes me feel frumpy without the jacket. When it’s warmer my denim vest will replace the jacket to give it more structure.
I love the pretty detail on the bottom of this dress. I love how my blue dress coordinates so beautifully with the grow tubes. What’s in those grow tubes you ask?? Well just the most precious grapevines.
Of course we had to take a picture by the very first one planted.
Starbucks made the looong bus ride better! My Olivia Pope moment!!
So much walking!!!!!!!!!
We had a great time, I’m exhausted and need to rest for when I go back in 2 years.
Have a great day!

Here’s to hoping the chilly days are over and layering won’t be necessary till September. 🙂 This weekend was freezing and there were flurries on Sunday morning! May in Michigan.
I love this striped v-neck tee I got at Target. It’s comfy and a great piece on its own or to layer under a cardigan. This one is old from Old Navy and I just love the color.
I wore my Gap boyfriend jeans, which you are probably sick of seeing, and my Toms. The glass of Malbec is optional but I think it’s a requirement. 🙂 All in all a great look to sit around the fire pit with some of my favorite people.
The fire (and red wine) make you pretend to be Melisandre. We always have a great time. 🙂 Make sure to come back tomorrow for my weekly Instagram. There will not be a Fridays Fashions this week because I will be in DC.
I think I’m finally recovered from 6th grade camp. I’m 2 years older from last time I went and I could really tell the difference!! Ha! I go back in 2 years. I’m scared! Next week I’m off to DC with my sons 8th grade class. Lots more walking!
Surprise it’s cold again! Trying to dress for Spring is impossible in Michigan. 75 and sunny one day 40 and cloudy the next. I thought I’d put the tall boots away till September but I gave in to save my cold feet.
This top is another Kohls purchase from years ago, it looks like a top with a cardigan but it’s all one piece. It has short sleeves so I added my denim jacket.
I was going for comfort this day as I was volunteering for a school event. I’d thought I lost these leggings but I had taken a morning to take everything I had folded on shelves in my closet to sort through. I hate doing that but I did find my comfy leggings!! I added the green scarf for a pop of color and it’s super Springy looking. 🙂
If your reading this it means I survived camp again!!!!!
I wore this top a few weeks ago with these white jeans but with a cardi. It was finally warm enough for sandals and sleeveless!
I could wear this outfit everyday and be really happy. I love black and white together. This top is H&M its sheer so I wear a tank underneath it. These are my jeggings and Target gladiators.
Remember my cute $2 shoes?? Well Jess got these super cute sneakers for $2 that day at Wal-Mart! She’s wearing the Old Navy pixies in navy. She loves them! She added the cute striped top and a denim jacket.
Such a great casual look!
Link up time!
Thanks for linking up each week with Fridays Fashions!!
The out takes are always the best! 🙂 I will be at 6th grade camp with my daughter so I will see you all next Wednesday!!!
I seldom if ever wear plaid it’s just not what I gravitate to at the store. Then I saw my sis-in-laws adorable shirt! So of course I had to borrow it.
I mean how cute is this top! I love the different shades of purple and the cute rolled up sleeves. Wore them with my Gap boyfriend jeans and my olive Toms. A great cute casual look!! This top is old here’s a similar one.
A great glass of red makes this the perfect outfit for sitting around the fire.
Today I’m joining the ladies of The Blended Blog with my cute casual plaid look. Have a great day!
Shopping day while are 4th graders were at a b’day party. Fun fact we each have 2 girls and a boy but my boy is my oldest and hers is her youngest. The girls are in 6th and 4th grade and they are all best buddies.
I’ve had this wonderful wrap for a few years, I saw it at Target and thought it would be perfect for Easter! Of course my husband told me I looked like I should be on Golden Girls!! Which to me is a compliment, it’s been my favorite show since I was 11!!!!
I love this shade of green!!
I just added a black tank and my favorite pants. I wore a white tee under it for Easter and I think I like that better then the all black. It is really cute in the Summer over a black tank and skinny jeans.
Today I’m showcasing my sweet new phone case from CaseApp. CaseApp is a Swedish company that makes custom phone cases and laptop skins. When they asked if I’d like to try one it was perfect timing as I just got a new phone. I was all set to design my own case when I saw this one!!! Yellow is my favorite color and I love a polka dot!
How cute is it! I’m very happy with the quality of it. 🙂 As a special for my readers CaseApp is offering 20% off with the code JAYMIEASHCRAFT 20
I love love love these joggers!!!! I got them late last Summer from Old Navy, they are a little baggy now that I’ve lost some weight (perks of my RA) but I still love them they are so comfy. 🙂 I just wore a gray tee and my denim jacket. I’m still loving my awesome Wal-Mart $2 shoes, check the clearance area!!
Such a cute and comfy look!
Was a little windy this day and you get a great view of my propane tank. Country living!! Have a great day!
Hi I’m Jaymie I’ve recently turned 40!! It once seemed ancient but not anymore. I have a teenage son and 2 preteen daughters. All of them are active in sports year round. In my early 20’s I was diagnosed with RA. It can really make some days unbearable but I try not to dwell on it. 6 years ago I had to go gluten free that was a struggle at first but not anymore.
I love fashion and discovering new and fantastic beauty products now that I have ‘aging’ skin. I love going through my closet and putting pieces together to make the perfect outfit. I hope you enjoy this as much as I’m enjoying this.
